- Setting traps in the main tunnel:To find a main tunnel,probe near the mound with a rod to see where the tunnel goes.Place the traps in opposite directions.Make sure the hole is covered so light does not enter
- Trap retrieval:Drive the stake at the end of the chain into the ground to make it easier to retrieve and prevent the trap from being dragged away by the animal.
- Most captures occur within 48 hours,relocate if unsuccessful after 48 hours
